Captain

Samuel Smith

Sam Smith was promoted to the position of Captain in 2010,

Captain Smith has been serving the post for over 3 years.

The Captain of Explorers is the executive director and commander of all Police Explorer resources.

Captain Smith's previous assignment was as a Sergeant before the Post gained more members which requires a larger chain of command and more Supervisors.

Sam recently graduated from Boca Ciega High School's Class of 2011. He is looking forward to working towards his Law Enforcment carrer by attending St. Petersburg College. Sam is employed by the CIty of St. Petersburg Police Department as an Emergency Communications Officer.

James Gainer was promoted to the position of Lieutenant in 2011,

Lieutenant Gainer has been serving the post for over 1 year.

The Explorer Lieutenant is responsible for the day to day operations of the Explorer post as well as supervising all Sergeants and their squads.

Charleston Fritts was promoted to the position of Sergeant in 2012, Sergeant Fritts has been serving the post for over 1 year.

Charleston leads the Alpha squad.

An Explorer Sergeant is responsible for supervising the Explorers assigned to his/her squad as well as any other resposibilities they are tasked with.

Mark Kay was promoted to the position of Sergeant in 2012,

Sergeant Kay has been serving the post for over 1 year.

Mark leads the Bravo squad.

An Explorer Sergeant is responsible for supervising the Explorers assigned to his/her squad as well as any other resposibilities they are tasked with.
